November 2024
November 8th - 5-6pm - Phonics Information Session with Laura Bains.
Laura Bains is based out of Carleton Place and is the most highly recommended literacy tutor in our area. She has just published aMUSEinPHONICS, a set of phonics books she wrote and designed so that children can actually teach themselves to read. All they need to begin is a knowledge of most of the letter names and sounds.
aMUSEinPHONICS is perfect for beginning readers, and for those lacking a solid phonics foundation, leading to gaps in reading accuracy and/or understanding. They work well for students from 4-16 years of age, ESL learners and those students diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, LDs. Come on down to The Book's Better at 10 Maple Avenue on Friday November 8th from 5-6pm to learn how aMUSEinPHONICS can get your reluctant reader to love literacy!!
